I'm losing my respect for the extended bits of this storyline.

However, I did enjoy the newest Secret Invasion (or maybe New Avengers) title where the Avengers are still fighting in the savage land (time seems to have collapsed for them) and we finally get answers to what's up with the Captain America on board the Skrull invasion ship and I actually sort of liked ( Read more... )

But generally, this whole "Marvel event" isn't really resonating with me. Manhattan does seem to be being destroyed (and thank GOD for Ms. Marvel or we'd have been destroyed a long time ago.)

Anyway, we're off to a friends' cabin for a weekend of sun, swimming, and fun. This has been a most marvelous summer. See y'all on the flipside.
