I think you can see the ice rainbow in this picture. It's right there by the church spire.

It's really, REALLY cold out today.

Thank you for getting a picture of that! I saw one of the rainbows (sundogs?) next to the IDS center this morning on my way to work, but couldn't get a picture.

I think this is the first time I successfully caught one on camera. I almost never think to use my phone, because it's far from "smart."

And, yeah, 'sundog,' that seems right too.

How cold is it there? Was 17° F. in Eugene when I left for the studio this morning, and I was feeling aggrieved. I came out here to get away from that stuff...

You remember of course, it's not the temperature, but the windchill, right? I believe yesterday when I got this picture it was about 5 degrees F. But the windchill made it -10 degrees F.

So you still got away from it, Frank. :-)
