Egads, I've Been Lax

lydamorehouseSorry, I haven't posted much in the last several days. Things have been happening. Mostly mundane sorts of things, but still THINGS.
Probably the most fun I had was going to Kuk Sool last Saturday. It was a day of vaulting, in which I attempted to hurl my flabby little butt over a stack of mats nearly as tall as I am with varying degrees of success. Then, continuing the KSW theme I met with Nicki SJN on Monday morning for tea/coffee and we discussed CONvergence, which I've convinced my dojon to have a demonstration at. If you get a chance, check them out. (They will be there Sunday at some point, I think.) There will be gravity defying feats of physical skill, possibly some Jedi mind-tricks, and/or at least, cool sword play.
Today I Skyped my dad a couple of times just to talk a bit, since he'll be heading off to Wales to teach for a week or so.
Oh, and I should mention I'm growing my hair out. It has become... WEIRD, and possibly unstable as it appears to be time-traveling. Yesterday, I looked like a member of the Flock of Seagulls from the 80s, and today, I'm rocking the Shaun Cassidy do of the late-70s. If this keeps going I'm going to have some kind of 60s look tomorrow, though what that's going to be I can't even imagine.
