Marvel Tarot -- The Lovers

Oh, yeah, and that's the other thing that the LOVERS card is supposed to represent: "the sacred marriage." As you know, Susan Richards/Invisible Woman is married to someone other than Prince Namor.... so, yeah, this is totally fan art and not really a tarot card.

Didn't know you were into Tarot. It rocks, as some would say. I've come here to see whether you elaborated on the suckiest Monday ever, and was going to suggest you move to Egypt/Mouse Land where the first day of the week is usually Sunday (or Saturday for the ones who have only got one day off). Solves many Monday melodramas.
Your drawing is soo spiffy! Bigger on Tate's blog, good to see. Look at her backside, his muscles. And the faces, dead cute. Her hair, great. One of these movie hair scenes with the blower hidden off frame. YOU can draw. Mabrook.

The reason I didn't draw two girls is because this particular deck is all about Marvel superheros and there isn't a lot of girl-on-girl action in the comic books (at least not "canon"). However, I have done the lovers as two women (or at least two very, very androgynous people) for another deck that I made for myself.

And thanks... they're meant to be underwater, thus the billowing hair (he's Atlantian, you know....) Anyway, I appreciate your comments. I've been away from drawing for some time and the Marvel deck has been my attempt to return to the visual arts a bit.
