Yeah, you know, if I really wanted someone to say, "Whoa, yes, totally weird," DW is probably NOT the place to do that.

But, thanks, I was basically looking for absolution.

It certainly is not, but while I was intending to be funny, I was also quite serious. I guess there are circles where writers generally are considered weird; but if one treats them with the contempt they deserve, fanfic is a natural human activity and, at least in my experience, also a form of reflection and critique. So it naturally gets applied to one's own creations too.

There, a nice heap of earnest absolution for you! I can't stay stay from it for long.
