Okay, sheild your eyes youngsters, here's the link to the Mouse/Morningstar I wrote:  http://www.mninter.net/~sprounds/avatar[1].htm.  I decided to post a link since sometimes I have trouble with LJ-cuts when I import text from other places.  And don't worry, true believers, It is most definately a two-parter.  As I told Xochi last night, there's no way I would have ended it where I did if I didn't intend to have someone pick Mouse up off the floor, as it were.

I'm so relieved that you published that disclaimer about slashing your own characters! That made me laugh. It was a good story--there's something very satisfying about fan fiction (or at least, spinoff fiction!) by the author of the characters. You have a whole backstory for Mouse that we didn't know in the books (but some of which I suspected...)

*Squeak* I love it. I mean, not that I ever questioned, that I would. Morningstar was always my favorite, with his red-headed evil fabulous-ness. =3 And Mouse always did border on too-cute-for-his-own-good. I didn't quite expect that scenario, but all the better! I'm looking forward to part two. =D

Poor Mouse. The theme of all Mouse fics seems to be "Mouse can't get a break." I just want to hug him.

That is so awesome. I am greatly looking forward to the sequel. I was not expecting that ending! Morningstar is such a bitch sometimes, I love it. :o)

Yeah, I don't think you meant " balling my eyes out," which brings up a psycho killer thing in this context. I think you meant "bawling my eyes out"

Yeah, Mouse's history is alluded to in the apocrapha, but never in the offical printed bits. IF I ever get a chance to write the Mouse prequel that lives in my head, more of that will come out.

Ah, another great typo for the Morehouse chronicles! My writers' group loves to remind me of my "quacking aspens," but honestly, given the context, I think this one has a MUCH better visual. Yikes!
