I haven't even gotten up yet, but I woke up with Alex sleeping on me, and I posted the Yuletide reveals post I was writing as the year changed over.

I also posted a fic, but not for Yule. So I also spent some of the end of the year basking in kudos.

Not bad! I got a powerpoint done, contacted two prospective guest speakers, and wrote out the plot of the next two books to figure out what I need to fix.

well, my parents have an appointment to get a vaccine on the 8th, so I can stop worrying about killing my parents. This lets me get back to doing a few (relatively safe) things like my outdoor volunteer job or photography.

Oh, that's a huge relief! I hope all goes well for them and you!

Thanks. It's nice to have a time frame - one month isn't too long to not do things, even if it's longer before i get my vaccine or things go back to normal.

I need to go to the store so of course it's snowing again. Winter!

It was sunny out! I took out the fruit-fly nurseries, which bit of essential housekeeping I have been trying to accomplish for literally weeks. So far so good.
