New Mouse Het Fic/Slash
Jul. 27th, 2007 11:41 amOnce again I have
xochiquetzlto thank for more Mouse het fic/slash. This one is called "Fictitious Liasons" and you can read it here:
http://www.mninter.net/~sprounds/DeeandMouse[2].html
There lots of things I love about this particular piece, but my favorite is that it offers up a very plausible explaination as to why Mouse is _so_ obsessed in finding out the details of Deidre's underwear. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, this is now canon.
Can I just say that any professional writer out there who complains about fan fic or slash is a complete ninny? Not only does this makes me feel deeply flattered, it also feeds the beast. And by that I don't mean my insatiable sexual appetite (though it does molify that somewhat), but the fiction monkey that rides my back. You know how we were talking about the stories in my head? Those people. They love stuff like this. It keeps them alive. And, given that my books are out of print, it actually kind of keeps me alive too. Having read this I totally want to write Mouse slash of my own. But, as my nephew once asked me, "If you slash your own fiction, isn't that canon?"
