Tetra and Bad News, Ima
Jan. 25th, 2007 11:47 amSo far I still have ten tetra (yes, Sean, even after we watched that one floating like a Christmas tree ornament beside the bio-filter.) I’m beginning to suspect my fish woes may be close to over. All of you folks out there quite sick of the fish can breath a sigh of relief.
In other news, Mason came down the stairs several days go with this:
Mason: (shouting from the top of the stairs) “I have bad news!”
Mama and Ima: (out of breath from running) “What?!”
Mason: “Megalodon is extinct!”
This is, indeed, bad news. Unless, of course, you’re just as happy not to have fifty-two foot sharks roaming the seas.
Cross-posted from my Tate Hallaway blog:
I found this tidbit about DNA Publications on Sean M. Murphy's blog and thought that any of you writer-types out there should be aware of it.
Though the main magazine under investigation appears to be the official fan magazine for KISS, DNA Publications also publishes Absolute Magnitude, Dreams of Decadence, Fantastic Stories, and Science Fiction Chronicle (trade magazine.)
I'm particularly sad about this news because the very first professional sale I made was a vampire story called "Irish Blood" to Dreams of Decadence, and thus my very first check for writing was signed by Warren Lapine himself.

Date: 2007-01-25 08:15 pm (UTC)The main question, though, is how would they taste (perhaps with a bernaise sauce)? That's a whole lotta potential good eatin' dowm the tubes. :)
Then there's this...

Date: 2007-01-26 12:29 am (UTC)I am sorry for Mason that Megalodon is extinct.
Yeah, by the way, this is Sarah Brown. I we emailed back and forth a few years back, my best friend Phoebe and I have an enormous fanfiction story for AngeLink, the unmodified beginning of which is posted on your website, and Phoebe actually had lunch with you once when she came up to Minnesota. Perhaps all this trivial information will help you place me; if not, I won't be too offended.
Also by the way, the Japanese cover for Archangel Protocol is beautiful. I'm kind of jealous of your Japanese readers. Not that the American covers weren't neat and all. After all, I decided to read Fallen Host based on its cover.
Enough from me now.
