Highland Article out...

If you live in the area of Minneapolis/St. Paul that recieves the Highland Villager check out the article about me, er... Tate. There is a very scary (not in a good way) picture of me hugging a grave wearing make-up and a wig. I'm nearly unregonizable.
Alas, they don't seem to have an on-line site for the rest of you. If there weren't copyright issues I'd totally scan a copy of the article and post it. But I can't do that to a fellow writer. It's a shame because the picture really is a doozie, and the article is great. I totally come out as a witch.
In other news, Mason is home today for one of the various and random days off that Crossroads has as part of their year-round schedule. So, I'm blogging instead of trying to figure out what's wrong with my writing (see Wyrdsmiths' blog today.) I was talking to
naomikritzer last night and I think the REAL problem is that I've never had a good notebook for this novel. Seriously. Don't you sometimes need your talismans before you can write? I know I do, and a good, comfy notebook is one of them.
I've generally been kind of down. I think a LOT of it has to do with being blocked with my writing and simultaneously feeling like I haven't had time to write (lots of interruptions, but I need to learn to just roll with those. After all, life is full of them, and God(dess) knows I used to write while working full-time/with an infant in the house/any number of other distractions.)
Mason has discovered Seasame Street. He's in the other room giggling like a blame fool over numbers and letters.
Life does, in point of fact, have it's moments.
