Day in the Life of an Idiot

all the writers are focusing on the part of this about arguing with your, yes probably young, fan about their vision of your characters, and me, your singing friend, keeps thinking about music. i can't listen to lyrics while working either because i will stop and sing, but instrumental? sure. but music has a mood and what if it isn't the mood you're currently writing? which is to say, i doubt i'd listen to music either, and i LOVE music.

at the same time, i wonder if i could find some music you would enjoy, not for writing to, but just to listen to. but there is a huge swath of music that i haven't heard--newer music? i mean sometimes my friends' children play me something and sometimes i even like it, but usually what i'm listening to is oldoldold! but then i am oldoldold, too! ah well--this stream of consciousness shows why i am not a writer, i guess!
