I always had less of a problem with them, because I had that only-for-books eidetic memory where I could see the words on the page, and the "shape" of the text, and so tended not to get lost....which doesn't work AT ALL on e-readers, lol.
I do wonder if there's specific advice out there on "how to write for e-readers" or how e-readers have affected writing/editing. (I also remember some of this happening around the shift from typewriters to word processing -- writers no longer had to actually cut and paste sections! lol)
