Wow, you saw a wolf on the road? How exciting! I thought they were a lot more reclusive than that.

I highly recommend Grand Portage State Park. Beautiful waterfall views and a surprisingly well made historical movie in the Visitor Center (assuming they have reopened Visitors Centers). If you like rocks, I recommend stopping at some of the rock shops along Highway 61, some of which are full-fledged gem museums. There's one near Grand Portage with huge amethyst geodes on display!
