Day in the Life of an Idiot

Honestly, if the slash is getting you into a rhythm and you honor the deadline you have set for yourself, I don't think there it anything to feel guilty about. You've been writing Garnet for a while now, and this is giving you a creative break to play with old friends without having to invent a whole new world to do it in. Plus, it's not "serious" writing, which is pretty darn liberating.

Basically, you and your Muse are playing hooky. We all need to do that now and then. Have fun, but be sure you get back to school when you need to. :)
