Date: 2020-06-09 06:56 pm (UTC)After a fire scare last week (I am in San Jose, we had arson in the dry hills about 2 miles from my home) the nights here are quiet again, and with the heat broken it cools off at night so I can open my windows and have fresh air. There was some wildlife in the backyard a few days ago, I think a bobcat -- I thought I dreamt the sounds but in the morning there were signs that something larger than squirrels had come through. There are also rampaging squirrels frolicing on my roof, but they are (for the moment) sufficiently well-behaved that it is amusing rather than destructive.
