Day in the Life of an Idiot

I love those columbines! My dad dug up a plant from our summer pasture and brought it home for mom when I was little, and it bloomed in her garden for years. Right now we've got a bunch blooming at the studio, planted by one of our potters who also has a greenhouse/plant biz. (And I'm also painting them on some special orders, filling out a set.

In other garden news, peas and beans are sprouting, tomatoes are liking all the rain, and Denise keeps having to pull up red oak sprouts from her iris bed. Darn squirrels.
