I had set myself up for a Monday -- I needed to call my insurance member services line and get them to explain how to use the newly-borked website, which they had decided to moosh up with the Park Nicollet My Chart page -- now defunct. I couldn't call them on Sunday because they don't answer the phone on weekends. I had also planned a number of other annoying tasks.

But when I looked at my email, Larry Sanderson had sent me a link to a livestream of a 2018 partly gender-swapped production of Hamlet that the Globe Theater in London was doing. I'm not well acquainted with livestreams and once I figured out that seven pm meant London time, I rushed to click on the link and got in quite near the beginning and watched the rest of it, texting madly with Eric, whom I'd emailed the link at once, so it was almost like a date. I emerged in a state not conducive to talking to insurance companies, neither fed nor caffeinated (I didn't know you could pause a livestream, though it's obvious in hindsight). Well worth it, but now I get to have Monday on Tuesday. This is weirdly less irritating.

I feel that you may have unfairly gotten some wandering bad Mondays that couldn't afflict their usual people.
