That sounds like an excellent (and very fannish) program item! I'm sorry I'll be missing it (I'm catsitting for T & JJ, who will be there). I love that you and your friend corresponded in character, period, and also that it was a la the Scarlet Pimpernel. SO much fun, it sounds like.

Now that I think of it, I wrote a sort of fanfic too. In high school, some of my friends and I wrote a couple of radio plays for the school's radio station. One play sort of took off from the movie Sherlock Holmes's Smarter Brother, which we had all just seen, so Sherlockiana plus GeneWilderian?
