Day in the Life of an Idiot

I checked out Webfiction Guide, but I'm not sure how it works? I mean, I get it, but I'm not sure if it's the kind of community I'm looking for. They seem to be pretty intense critiques, which I can get from my writers' group. Am I wrong? What are the advantages, in your opinion?

You're absolutely right about some people just not being fond of things in progress. Anyway I think the signal has been boosted a bit, with some help of some friends, so I'm feeling a bit better about that.
