Spontaneity Continues!

 Yesterday, somewhere outside of Toledo, when we were thinking about how much further we wanted to go before figuring out where to stop for the night, I said to Shawn. "How far away is Lansing from here?" We used GPS and discovered it was about two hours.  We have very dear friends who live in Michigan who had been asking if we wanted to stop by on the way to drop Mason off at college. We hadn't had time to make the detour on the way out, but now...? Shawn called them up and they were happy to see us, se we turned left.

Now we get to have homemade coffee instead of Starbuck sludge and I could not be more ready to tackle the last eight hours of the trip!  Whoo!
