LIfe and Stuff

A lot has happened. Mason had a couple of doctor's appointments. One to check his hearing (he passed); the other to check his eye sight (he failed.) So, our little guys is going to need glasses. We found some cute ones that make him look a bit like a mouse, so I'm totally in favor of those. But we haven't ordered them yet, since it's far vision he has trouble with. He won't really NEED them until school starts, though. We're planning on picking them out next week.

We spent Saturday at Steve and Shari's cabin "up north." We had a lot of fun. Mason learned the speed-demon joys of water jetting with Steve, the world's most responsible water jetter. Katya Reimann and her family were there as well, and we all got along swimmingly (joke! As there was a lot of SWIMMING! Although we all did get along quite well.) We pontooned, swam, frolicked, inner tubed, and generally enjoyed one of the most lovely summers in recent memory.

Tate has some good news to report over at Wyrdsmiths. Seems, as usual, her paranoia was unfounded.

Also, one of my tetra has disappeared. I mean COMPLETELY. I'm not sure what's going on with that. I'll give a full report if I discover the answer (or body.)
