Random Happenings

First, in a sort of news of the weird, I found out from British publicist yesterday that Her “confessional” about family and witchcraft *will* be appearing in the British edition of Elle. They may even be sending photographers… which makes me very nervous. As I told my publicist, it’s been a very long time since I looked like, well... a girl.

As part of getting ready for our family vacation trip to Colorado at the end of the week, we've been bookbuying for ourselves and for Mason. Because Mason loved the movie so much, we bought the novel "Bambi" was based on by Felix Salten. It’s a little different, let’s just say. It’s a chapter book, which surprised Shawn. But Mason has been enjoying it so far, despite the fact that there is no “Thumper” or “Flower” so far. (There’s also the addition of a sickly fawn named Gobo who is Feline’s brother.... I sense tragedy in his future.)

Also, just in time for our trip (Mason's first time on an airplane!) Mason caught a cold. Hopefully, he'll be mostly over it by Saturday -- fingers crossed.

There were other things I wanted to write, but he's anxious for someone to read to him, so I'm off.
