My last job, my boss was also an Irish-American with freckles, light eyes and skin, and dark hair. She was incredibly thin and about 5' 10", but people confused us ALL the time.

We worked at a mainly Indian agency, and so I'd say offhand: "It's okay; all white people look the same," which horrified folks but made me giggle.
