Failing to Cope

I think I need to take up an exercise that involves punching something.

I wish I had the money to go back to martial arts. When I regularly did Kuk Sool Won, I really enjoyed how it made me feel. Plus, bonus screaming. The particular school/doujon I went to was very pro-loud kihaps. Thus, not only did I get to regularly smack something for all I was worth, but also I could scream while doing it.

It's not clear from the internet whether or not they're even sitll in business. Their Facebook page now says that they're permanently closed. If they have a website anymore, I can't find it.

Whelp, somthing else to add to my pile of sad.

Do you have space to put one of those punchable/kickable things they have in dojos? Are they expensive?

I did a few kickboxing classes and really liked it.

i simply have to avoid reading about anything--i don't have the balance to kick things. i know i should be paying attention as my rights erode, but no, i am reading fluffy books. i hope you find some way to kick and scream as much as you need!

As a black belt, I can absolutely attest that punching and kicking does help.

I assume you get your health care through Shawn’s job? Does her health plan get you access to Burnalong’s online video classes? Lots of kickboxing options there.

Hang in there, hon.
