I have been through knee replacement. I can offer encouragement, and advice if wanted. Mainly, she will need to do her PT exercises once they teach her what to do. There are many devices and aids to make things easier after the surgery. A raised toilet seat, a walker, some grabbers, and even a sock aid can be helpful.
