The advantage of Roll20 is that you get maps and built-in character sheets. So you can create macros for skills, and even include custom text (Grognar the Barbarian SMITES!, that kind of thing). But it's buggy as all fuck. And tbh I'm not a fan of online rolling, even when it's easier and does the math for you. It doesn't feel like real rolling and you can't send a macro to dice jail.
