Well, I mean I dreamed of people writing fan fic of my work and they did? I mean, it's also so, so weird see what pairings people want? Archangel Protocol semi-regularly gets a couple of fans who want Yuletide gift. I have been tempted to write it for them. Because my fantasy involves me, the canon author, writing a fic for someone and that person saying, "Mmmm, your writing is OK, but the characterization is totally OOC! Why would Mouse even talk like that. Read the canon!" And me, being at home going "??? I am CANON."
