Well, the magical formula that I have is that everything I teach is 100% volunteer. Of course my kids are enthused; they chose to come. I ALWAYS teach things that are things like this--breaks from their regular schooling; fun programming on a subject they chose, or, like when I teach in the summers at the Loft, something they had to convince their parents to spend money on.

I'm never the person they see every day. I'm the fun, wild auntie.
