Definitely could have been worse. When we had the insulators under the house last year, they found that the shower drain in the half-bath was broken and the toilet drain leaking. (In addition to the sink trap above ground being broken.) Fortunately, the bathroom doesn't get used much besides for storage, and I don't think I've used the shower since, oh, 2001. And we already were having the plumbers in for other issues, so it was just one more thing on the list.

Old houses are not fun sometimes.
