I can't not write, though. I'm also not particularly dissuaded by social barriers. They just don't seem to correlate highly with what is actually impossible, so I tend to ignore them. I wound up making money from poetry, which people say is impossible -- in crowdfunding, with much better throughput, speed, and audience interaction compared to traditional publishing.
