I never liked Batman as much as other heroes, mainly because he was so grim-grim (unless he was campy-stupid, which I hate also).

OTOH, him having an AWESOME butler was one of the things that made him cool. Tony Snark... er STARK has a cool ROBOTIC butler, so that helps make him cool too.

"Death Note" never appealed to me any more than Dexter; Batman may be DARK but he's generally still a HERO, and not a sociopath jut excusing his behavior or trying to fit in while being a monster in truth.
