It doesn't suck, per se, but you do get redirected to a website. Last time I did this it was a bit of a pain but not really worse than picking up a curbside order from a store where I don't have the app. Via the website I okayed text updates, so I knew how long the truck would take to reach me. If I had a car that broke down all the time, I suppose I would download their app, and then it would be practically seamless.
