My baking didn't come out great this year. I'm out of practice. Only one thing was non-tasty, though.

I do think this is why I write, read, and role-play in science fiction. I can continue to imagine the future as a better place, at least in my own mind.

So valid. Pandemic aside, this is a lot of why I've escaped into fiction lately.
